Behind the scenes strategic shift back to consulting

I want to share a behind-the-scenes look at a strategic shift within my business. It's an internal shift that won't affect the existing platforms such as the Power Project, The Hub for Rural and Regional Business Women, and the podcast. I've teased this shift on my Instagram, and now I want to dive into the details of why I've made this decision and what the shift entails.

I often advise my clients to have multiple income streams and to target multiple niches as long as they do it strategically. This strategic shift is a result of receiving an influx of enquiries from larger organizations within the agricultural machinery and supply chain sectors. With my deep-rooted passion for agriculture and my extensive experience in manufacturing machinery and supply chain management, it only makes sense to leverage this expertise and make a more meaningful impact in this industry.

Leveraging Different Platforms

I believe in dedicating certain platforms to certain niches to minimise buyer fatigue and appeal to multiple audiences. This shift will primarily affect my presence on LinkedIn and Twitter, where I will be focusing on conversations related to logistics, supply chain, distribution, and operational efficiencies within the agricultural sector.

Importance of Core Functions

It's important to note that before making any strategic shifts or adding additional revenue streams, it's crucial to ensure that your core services and offers are completely nailed. Once you have a strong foundation, you can explore opportunities to expand and target different niches without causing confusion among your audience.

Consulting Services

The strategic shift will see me delving back into consulting within the agricultural machinery and supply chain sectors. I'll be working on business strategy, market analysis, distribution networks, marketing and communications, sales strategy, operational efficiencies, and research and development (R&D) for my clients in this industry.

 

I hope this behind-the-scenes look into my business and the strategic shift I'm making provides insight into the thought process behind such decisions. I believe in treating myself like a client and constantly challenging myself to step outside my comfort zone, and I encourage you to do the same in your business endeavours.
